A comprehensive after-school music program designed to introduce students to instruments, singing, and ensemble performance. Research consistently shows that music education improves academic performance, social skills, and emotional well-being.
Music education is being cut from school budgets nationwide, yet research shows it improves math scores by 22%, reading comprehension by 20%, and social-emotional skills. An after-school program fills this gap without impacting the academic schedule.
We will deliver a twice-weekly after-school music program for grades 3-5. Students rotate through piano, guitar, percussion, and voice over the course of each semester. The program culminates in a school concert for parents and the community.
