Five days chasing the extraordinary light of Iceland's south coast — glaciers, black sand beaches, waterfalls, and volcanic landscapes. Small group (12 max), expert instruction, and golden hour shoots in some of the most photographed places on Earth. Suitable for intermediate to advanced photographers.
Arrival & Welcome Dinner
Check in at Hotel Skógafoss. Welcome dinner with itinerary review, gear check, and group introductions over Icelandic lamb stew.
Skógafoss & Seljalandsfoss Waterfalls
Dawn shoot at Skógafoss (golden light on mist). Afternoon at Seljalandsfoss — behind-the-waterfall perspectives and long exposure techniques.
Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach
Dramatic basalt columns, crashing waves, and moody ocean compositions. Workshop on seascape exposure and composition in extreme environments.
Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon
Icebergs, diamond beach, and glacier reflections. Sunrise and sunset sessions with instruction on ice photography and color temperature.
Editing & Critique Day
Morning off to rest. Afternoon editing workshop — RAW processing, color grading, and panorama stitching. Evening: group critique and print selection.
Final Sunrise & Departure
Optional final sunrise shoot at Vík. Farewell brunch and departures. Each participant receives a printed proof of their best shot.
Flights & Meeting Point
Fly into Keflavík International Airport (KEF). We'll arrange a group shuttle to Hotel Skógafoss on June 14 (departing KEF at 14:00). If arriving earlier, Reykjavik is 45 minutes away and well worth exploring.

Gear Recommendations
Bring a sturdy tripod, wide-angle lens (16-35mm), telephoto (70-200mm), and ND filters (6-stop and 10-stop). Full gear list in the packing guide. Rent locally if needed — I have partner recommendations.
